From the March issue of Little India magazine
Indians are surely an innovative lot and thanks to
their enterprise in finding new uses for condoms
rather than the intended one, they are assisting in
the manufacture of more Indians! —LM

A Slow Death

Do Tortoises take decades or more to die ?

"Historical records show he was a pet of British general
Robert Clive of the East India Company and had spent
several years in his sprawling estate before he was
brought to the zoo about 130 years ago," West Bengal
Forest Minister Jogesh Barman said.

"We have documents to prove that he was more than
150 years old, but we have pieced together other evidence
like statements from authentic sources and it seems that
he is more than 250 years old," he said.

A New Devil in Miss Jones

Savana Samson a.k.a. Natalie Oliverios....whose
debut as a winemaker has been nothing less
than spectacular.....

"There's spiciness -- the Cesanese has the naughty
side of me. And yet it's an elegant wine. I love the opera,
and I'm a classically trained ballet dancer. And there is
some chocolate undertone, which I just love.
There's a little bit of sweetness. Like, 10 percent of the
time I'm sweet," she said.

to the story of a porn star who has received a score
of 91-95 out of 100 from wine guru Robert Parker

A Blog on Eve Teasing

"The city just doesn't bother"
The eve teasing scene in Mumbai is pathetic.
Everywhere you go, you are hounded by catcalls and lurid gestures.
It's very disgusting; no one is spared. In buses I have seen little girls
being felt up by men. Churchgate is the worst; there are many louts
hanging around. This city is so indifferent, they don't even bother to
acknowledge that some guy just whistled at a girl. Once in a while
an old woman probably yells at the ruffians. Everyone seems to
ignore the ever-growing eve teasing issue that this city faces.

Air Guitar comes of age

Air Guitar contestant shredding the wind
beneath his strings.....

The virtual air guitar is an entertainment device where the
user pulls on a pair of orange gloves and takes a playing
pose as if holding an imaginary guitar.
A webcam recognises the gloves and a musical intelligence
module interprets the user's gestures and sends commands
to the sound module which produces the final sound.

The contest finals will be in Finland. Read more here
