Grammy winner Norah Jones (born Geethali Norah Jones Shankar )
opened up to Katie Couric on CBS' 60 Minutes the other day and
finally revealed that she had rekindled her ties with her father,
world-renowned Sitar player Ravi Shankar.
Her parents never married, and Norah considers herself not half-Indian,
but rather a Texan/ New Yorker since she was raised in Grapevine, Texas
and lived in NYC during her formative years.
Now, about that Fantasy Album in the post title :
will someone out there please listen to me and get Norah,
sister Anoushka and Ravi to collaborate on an album before
he passes away ? I'm seeing Grammy potential here !
