Indian tennis sensation Sania Mirza on Thursday refused to be
dragged into a controversy over her dress code.
Talking to the media on Thursday Sania, who returned home
after crashing out of the US Open, said: "I don't want to comment
on my dress code." She was referring to a question about a
'fatwa' issued by some Muslim religious leaders in Kolkata.
The religious leaders reportedly termed as "un-Islamic" the dress
Sania wears on courts, saying it violates the limits prescribed by
Shariat or Islamic law.
